Did you know God wants healing for you? I went and visited one of our bible studies that someone was leading at their home. Our church has a number of groups that meet during the week across various with different people leading. As the study was going, there was someone  whom the Lord wanted to minister.

God Wants Healing for You | Compassion

During the life of Jesus on earth, we finding him healing people out of compassion. Accordingly, Matthew 14:14 says, “And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.” In addition, Matthew 20:34 tells us, “So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.

God Wants Healing for You | Miracles

The thought may arise, the healings Jesus performed were to “prove” His Deity. They may affirm his Deity, but I am not convinced Christ was out to prove anything. In the temptation of the wilderness, Jesus did not find the need to “prove” anything to the devil by performing signs and wonders (miracles). My friends the Lord loves us. He wants to heal us of our afflictions. However, it is also true those afflictions can be mental or emotional as well. Nevertheless, God wants to stretch out his hand in healing us.

God Wants Healing for You | Believe

Surprisingly, Jesus endorsed or encouraged people to “believe” in him for the sake of miracles. There are two references in John’s gospel. Firstly, John 10:38 reads: “But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.” Secondly, John 14:11 states: “Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.” Indeed, there are a number of other passages, but we will list at least three more.

Mark 1:41: “Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Mark 5:19, “However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” Luke 7:13, “When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.”

God Wants Healing for You | Spiritual Gifts

Back to the bible study. I saw this image. It was almost like an outline that went from her neck down into her shoulder and slightly further down. To put in better, it looked like a (fishing) hook. But the image the Lord showed was more like a silhouette. Since the study was going on and I did not want to interrupt, I sat still with an open mind and heart to the Lord. Soon, I sensed there was pain there and she was in pain and it was keeping her up at night.

God Wants Healing for You | Healing

Following, the people at the study were standing around and talking. I approached the person. In fact, I had never met the person before. Her name was Angie. Thus, I gently mentioned what I saw and I wanted to pray for her. Yes, I was that bold in the moment. She began to cry asking how I knew this about her neck and the pain. I told her, “God loves you” and wants to minister to you. She shared about some surgery she had. After prayer, she was without pain.

Therefore, today God wants healing for you wherever the need exists. We are here to minister. Contact us.
